Barclays Arrival+ Rewards and Minimum Spending

Edit: You cannot have the Arrival+ if you are currently holding the Arrival, whether it was downgraded or not. You must cancel the Arrival and re-apply for the Arrival+. It is a churnable card too.

I got the Arrval+ in 2014 with the 40,000 miles bonus upon spending $3,000 within the first 3 months. I hit the spending using AMEX Serve loads back when it was accepting Visa and Mastercard. The miles posted on the statement after the spending was hit.

The bonus is now 50,000 miles.

Edit (04/17/17): I added my AMEX card to my PayPal account since Goldmoney doesn't allow AMEX funding via their credit card form. From the bid price, it is still 2.9%. The only difference is that you can only withdraw the money back to the PayPal account used, and the gold is stored in a special PayPal vault.
